On 6 June 2024 Annemiek made her Spanish debut in directing the revival of McBurney’s Die Zauberflöte at Palau de les Arts in Valencia.
She enjoyed a great collaboration with the musical director of the house James Gaffigan and worked together with movement director Jessica Angleskhan to bring the production back to life on a new stage.
